DYKE DAY DEVELOPING DETAILS
5 WEEKS AND 4 DAYS AWAY! SF Dyke March day is a little more than a month away and plans for a very full day are falling into place. Thank you to all who are working on any of the multiple projects related to making this year’s SF Dyke March a success.
On Dyke Dat 6/27/26:
10:00 am: Trans Ally March- SF Dyke Marchis proud to stand in solidarity with a coalition of organizers, including IndivisibleSF, People's March & Rally, SF Dykes on Bikes ® WMC,and SF Pride, and will host the Trans Ally Rally, where we’ll march and rally to stand up for our trans loved ones. Starting at 10:00 am from the Embarcadero and ending at Civic Center at the People’s March Stage. After our speaker represents us on stage, our team will head to 18th and Dolores to set up for the SFDM Rally at apx 12:30 pm. The People’s March & Rally will continue programming on their stage thru 5:00 pm.
DOLORES PARK: Dykes and queers (and more) hang out in Dolores Park on Pride weekend, a day we Dykes have considered ours for 34 years. SF Dyke March doesn’t have an SFRPD permit or any programming planned inside the park, but there will definitely be Dykes in the park having Dyke fun. Many of us traditionally gather around noon. “Dykes Only Space” is an independent organization and you can learn more about them here.
12:00 pm: South bound lanes of Dolores St between 18th and 20th - street closure. North bound lanes will remain one-way (north) until MTA closes the street completely, closer to our rally start time.
12-12:30 pm: load in and set up begins for the rally and march preparations, on Dolores St. between 18th -19th Streets
3:00 pm: Dolores St. closure btw 18th and 20th Streets complete, north and south bound lanes.
3:00 - 4:30 pm: SF Dyke March street rally officially begins at 3:00 pm, close to the same spot where the march steps off at 5. You don’t want to miss it!
4:30 pm: Staging for The March on Dolores St begins - sign up with your contingent and bring your crew.
4:45 pm: Sound crew re-sets the stage to a rolling sound struck.
5:00 pm: 18th and Dolores Streets - San Francisco Dyke March steps off from the corner of 34 years of tradition, to take space in the streets of San Francisco. See the map at the top for the route specifics.
